Govinda the Original Person

The personal qualities could not exist in the material world,

if the source of everything it lacked.

Govinda's name indicates a person that gives pleasure to the cows and the senses. There are many incarnations of God, but Govinda (Krishna) is the adi-purusha, which is the original person. As such he, technically speaking, is not an incarnation of God, but God, the source of all incarnations. Govinda is not some impersonal effulgence or vacuum, but a complete person in every respect. If the source of all, there were a person, as so many people there may be individual or living beings, whether men, animals, demigods, trees or plants - in the universe? Every living being is an individual soul and spirit each individual soul is a spiritual person. How then can the root of all be impersonal and nothing more? Personal qualities should be in him, could not otherwise ritlettersi in the material world. This conclusion is the conclusion of Lord Brahma in to Govindam adi-tam aham purusam bhajami. Lord Brahma is the first creature in this universe and, in the Brahma-samhita says that its origin is a person. "I love the original person," said in the Brahma-Samitha.
The whole world is a victim of impersonal conception. Nobody really knows anything, of course, however, through speculation, people have developed a philosophy of impersonality. But how can this stand impersonalism? It is contradicted by everything we experience, because every individual is a person and complete all originate from which all living beings is also a person, adi-purusam.

The knowledge of the Lord Brahma

This is what Lord Brahma said that, having created the universe knows what it contains. We know very little what is inside and what exists beyond this universe there is totally sconusciuto. This however is not the case of Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma is the adi-kavaya, which means it is the first person with knowledge, the creator of this universe. tene brahma-adi ya Hrid kavaye muhyanti yat surayah [Srimad-Bhagavatam]. The origin of everything, the Absolute, the summum bonum-, can not be impersonal because it is the source of Brahma, which is a person. We have no experience of a person who comes from something impersonal, because my father is a person, I am a person. Going back our family trees, we can see that each person comes from another person and, if somehow it were possible to go back to our origins to the beginning of creation, we would find the original person that Brahma is praying . The origin of the universe is not empty nor a mess early, the source is a person with knowledge. Brahma, who is the first crearura, receives knowledge from the original person and this is described in Srimad-Bhagavatam. The word Brahma Jnana means ie through knowledge. One may wonder how could be instructed Brahma by another person, if he is the original creature in this universe. What was the spiritual master that has transmitted the knowledge? In Srimad-Bhagavatam is reported that the conosceza manifested itself in the heart of Brahma. God is located in the heart of everyone and although Brahma was the first and only child at that moment, the other person, the adi-purusha, was in his heart. In the Bhagavad-gita (18.61) is also said that Isvara, the Supreme Lord is situated in the heart of everyone, he presides over all.

"The Supreme Lord is present in everyone's heart, and Arjuna , and directing the wanderings of all living things, which is located in the body, similar to a machine made of material energy. "

Those who are not devotees can not understand how it is that Krishna, or God, give instructions to 'inside of the heart, but the devotees can understand. The devotees then try to listen to the Lord in 1oro heart, but to really feel you need this special status. You must be at a certain level of spiritual advancement. In the Bhagavad-gita (10.10) Krsna says to those who are devoted to giving the means by which we can understand:

tesam satata-yuktanam
bhajatam Priti-purvakam
DADAMI bhuddhi yogam-tam
yena mam you upayanti
"To those who I always serve with devotion and love, I give the intelligence to come to Me"

Words tesam satata-yuktanam mean "being committed." The Krishna devotees undertake full-time in devotional service only for love (PRIT-purvakam). Devotees always feel like thinking, "This is an opportunity to serve Krishna." Undertake longer in service, plus it feels good, and make faster progress in spiritual life. Nobody asked to stop serving. When we perform some service material, we get tired and think, "Oh, how I worked. Now I would take a rest:" But when you make a spiritual service, we receive more energy and actually say: "Vog1io serve more." In a devotee so sincere, the Lord, who resides in the heart, gives your instructions: "Do this and soon come to Me, He also gives instructions for a different type to those who do not want to go back to him" Do you want to do this? Hence the occasion. If you want to steal, go ahead: "If you do not want to go back to Krishna, if we want to forget him completely, He will give us this opportunity, because he continues to meet our desires. Therefore in the Bhagavad-gita (15.15) has said that He allows us to remember Him and also allows us to forget this is our desire.

"I am in the heart of every being and I is the memory, knowledge and forgetfulness. The end of all the Vedas is to know. In truth I am the one who composed the Vedanta and the Knower of the Vedas. "

Not a person like us

Ordinary people do not understand how God can be a person because they think: "God must be a person like me." So in some scriptures it denies the concept of personality because as soon as one accepts it foolish to immediately think: "God is a person like me." So it is said: "God is not a person," and in some religions, like Judaism, are not even allowed pictures of God in the form of a painting or statue. This does not mean to say that God is absolutely not a person. When told that God is not a person, we should understand that there is a person like us. He is actually a person but of a different type from us: isvarah paramah krishnah sac-cid-ananda vigrahah; His personality is eternal and His mortal body is not like ours. Your body is full of happiness, while ours are full of suffering. Your body is full of knowledge and our ignorance. He is ishvara addition, the controller, while we are controlled. So how could God be a person like us? Since we are unable to understand how a person could be Absolute Truth, we must learn from Brahma, the supreme poet and sage of the universe that is the first person created.

We belong to the Brahma-sampradaya or, that is part of the succession from Lord Brahma disciplic, so we accept the statements of Brahma worship Govinda, the adi-purusum. We may not know this adi-purusam, but if we follow in the footsteps of acaryas , great spiritual leaders, we will not have difficulties. Govinda instructs Brahma and Brahma in the heart instructs his disciple Narada and Narada instructs his disciple Vyasa. The disciple of Vyasa, Madhvacarya shows the same message, then Isvara Puri and then his disciple Caitanya Mahaprahhu, then Goswami, and so on. In this way knowledge is received by the parampara, according to the succcssione disciplic. When the same message is repeated without change, knowledge is transmitted in a perfect manner.

Incarnations of God

Or by sastra writings, we learn that the original person or adi-purusha expands in many incarnations. These embodiments are different and their activities are described in Srimad-Bhagavatam. On one occasion, Lord Krishna incarnated in a wild boar, Varaha, and lifted the world when it was immersed in the waters of Garbhodaka. The demon Hiranyaksa had pushed the earth in the middle of the universe filled with water and Sri Krishna in the form of a boar, not only saved the planet, but destroyed the demon. On another occasion the Lord appeared as a small fish in a bowl of water, over time this fish got older and had to take him to a lake. The fish continued to grow and when it became huge, informed Manu: "destruction is coming. Take all the Vedas and put them in a boat, I will protect you. Jayadeva Gosvami is why he sings in his prayer:" My Lord You, in the form of fish, didst save the Vedas, when there was destruction. The incarnations of God are described in the prayers offered by Jayadeva Goswami, a Vaishnava poet who appeared about seven hundred years before Lord Caitanya. Jayadeva was a great devotee and the Lord wrote a famous song called Gita-govinda. He offers another prayer tortoise incarnation. Once the demons and demigods used a large hill as it were whirling and churning the ocean. The support of the churn was the incarnation turtle shell. Jayadeva so he prayed: "You look like a turtle for their support for the churn. I itched the back and you accepted this hill you to scratch."

In another embodiment, Nrisimhadeva, the Lord appeared to save Prahlada Maharaja, a five year old boy tortured by his father who was an atheist. The Lord came from a column of the palace of his father and half-man half-lion.The father of Prahlada, Hiranyakasipu, had received a blessing from Lord Brahma assured him that it would not be killed either by a man nor an animal, in fact, the Lord appeared in a form that was neither man nor animal. We often think to deceive God with our intelligence, but the Lord is more intelligent than we are. In another embodiment, the Lord appeared as Vamana, a dwarf. The Lord Vamana appeared before Bali Maharaja, who had conquered all the planets of the universe thereby upsetting the demigods.Vamana said: "I am a Brahmin and I came to ask for charity." Bali Maharaja said: "Yes, I'll give you what you want:" The dwarf said only three feet of land and Bali Maharaja satisfied his desire. Vamanadeva then stepped and covered half the universe, then he made another and held the other half. Bali Maharaja then said: "There is nothing that you can take with the third step, then please put your foot on my head." In another incarnation as Parasurama, the Lord killed all the kings of Kshatriyas twenty-one times due to the dishonesty of the King. From the story of the Mahabharata we learn that at that time some kshatriya fled and took refuge in Europe and consequently the modern Europeans are descendants of those Kshatriyas. As Lord Rama, the Lord fought against Ravana, a demon with ten heads and ruled the world as an ideal king.

As Balarama, the elder brother of Krishna and an incarnation of Sankarsana, the Lord was very nice, white-skinned and wore blue suits. Once you angry with the river Yamuna and threatened him and drain. For fear of Balarama, the Yamuna, he agreed to cooperate cun him as Buddha, the Lord destroyed the Vedic principles cun a perfect logic and therefore was considered an atheist. The Lord Buddha was an incarnation of Krishna, however, and denied the validity of the Vedas in order to save the animals were sacrificed according to the injunctions of the Vedas. In the name of Vedic sacrifices, people kill animals inappropriately and the Lord appeared as Lord Buddha to preach non-violence. At the end of this age, the Kali-yuga, the Lord will appear as Kalki. Secundo the Vedas, Kalki will appear in 427.O00 years and his mission is simply to kill. Lord Krishna gave instructions contained in the Bhagavad-Gita, but the Lord Kalki does not give any instruction. At the end of Kali-yuga, people will be degraded by cases not being able to understand nessunca istruziune, so the only way to help is to kill them. One who is killed by the Lord attains liberation. This is one of the supremely merciful Signur quality, whether it protects or kills, the result is the same. So Kalki will appear in the last phase of Kali-yuga and destroy everything and start again after this period the Satya-yuga (golden age). In this way we can see that God is not only a person such as adi-purusha, the original person, but that is manifested throughout the universe in countless incarnations and expansions, which are also personal characteristics.

Seeing God

Despite all that often challenge the Lord saying, "There is no God" or "I am God" or even "I do not care of God" Despite this attitude that is typical of this age, God is there and we can see Him at all times. If we deny the personality of God, then He prescnterò before us as a cruel death. The Bhagavad-gita contains instructions that teach us how to gradually understand God and see Him in person
face to face. In the Bhagavad-gita the Supreme Personality of Godhead himself says: "I am the taste of the water, I am the light of the sun, I am the light of the moon, I am the sound vibration in the sky and Large persunalità I are the greatest. " If you really want to understand God or in the certain knowledge of God, can you can follow the instructions given in the Bhagavad-gita and realize God in many ways. All we taste the water every day, so if we remember that God is the taste of water, then the implementation begins.Who has not seen the moon or the sun? And those who have never heard the sound vibrating in the air? There are so many ways we can see, hear and listen to All God see God in every moment, but the atheists say they do not see Him because they do not exist.

Without consciousness of God or without Krsna consciousness, there can be no peace. All anxiously seeking peace but no one knows how to get it. So this Krsna consciousness movement is causing the biggest spa in the world. The way to understand this science of Krishna has been made easier in this era by Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu by chanting the holy names of God: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama , Hare Hare. In the Vedas it is said that in this age people are so fallen that God can not achieve with any of the prescribed methods, so it is said that in this era the chanting of the holy names of God can bring all the benefits that in previous eras obtained through meditation, worship and sacrifice in the temples. Mahaprahhu Lord Caitanya, who is Krishna Himself, tells us that the holy name of God is not different from the Supreme Lord, so all the energies of God are in His holy name. In terms of the Absolute there is no difference between the holy name of God, and God himself. Mahaprahhu Chaitanya said that there are no fixed rules for chanting the name of God and so the names can be sung in all circumstances. In this era is the blind following the blind, because nobody knows the purpose and goal of human society or the perfection of human life. Life becomes perfect through self-realization and the discovery of our lost relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead This Krishna consciousness movement is trying to enlighten the human society on this important point. According to Vedic civilization, the perfection of life is to make our relationship with Krishna. From the Bhagavad-gita we can understand that all living beings - not only humans but also animals and lower forms of life are integral parts of God all things are made to serve the whole, just as the hands are made for serve the body. In the same way, as living beings, parts of God, we have a duty to serve. In fact, our position is that we are always serving someone. We are always serving our bodies and the expansion of our bodies in the form of family, society, nation and so on. If a person has no one to serve, sometimes a puppy breeds of dog or cat and serves them. Constitutionally we are made to serve the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but if we deny this person we are obliged to serve something else. In any case there will be service and this service is called Sanatana Dharma-namely the eternal business or occupation of the living. On the material level, although we do our best to serve, we are never satisfied.

In the material world, everyone is frustrated because their service is not directed in the right way. If we want to serve a tree, we have to water the roots and its branches and its leaves. Similarly, if you give food to the stomach, all the other parts of the body are fed. We should therefore understand that if the Supreme Personality of Godhead is served, will also fulfilled all its constituent parts. So all charities, including those serving the family, society and the nation will be completely fulfilled by serving the Supreme Personality of Godhead conversation with his disciple Narada Muni, Lord Brahma made the following statement: "The Vedic writings originate and serve the Supreme Lord to know Him. The heavenly beings have a responsibility to serve as part of His body, the planets are only for him and sacrifices are made only to satisfy Him. All the various forms of meditation and yoga practice is used to perform, all austerities aim to reach Him. The development of spiritual knowledge gives a glimpse of him and, finally, the release is to live in His kingdom. " (Srimad Bhagavatam 2.5.16-17) Following in the footsteps of Lord Brahma can get the final release and the vision of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Brahma and adored by all the celestial beings of the universe.
