"I offer my respectful obeisances unto the spiritual masters, the devotees of the Lord, the Lord's incarnations, His plenary expansions, to your primal energies and the same Lord, Sri Krishna Chaitanya."

The Lord Caitanya is Krsna Himself. This was stated by Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya who composed one hundred verses glorifying Lord Chaitanya, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, but because it was playing the role of a devotee, He threw away the lines "Oh, this is not for Me" Such was the humility of Chaitanya Mahaprahhu. The devotees, however, know that Lord Caitanya is Krsna Himself Mahaprahhu: Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Sri-, radha-krishna naha anya. "Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is none other than Radha and Krishna in one body."

At first there was Krishna, then Krishna is divided into two: Radha and Krishna. And finally, they were united again. This union is Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The conclusion of Gosvami, the most important disciples of Lord Chaitanya, is that Krishna is one. There are no rivals for Krishna. God is one:and kam brahma dvitiyam nasty . There can be many gods. When God wants to feel pleasure or Krishna, he shows his power and that power is to please Radharani. Like the sastra (scripture) teach, sakti-saktimatayor abhedah: "There is no difference between the energy and the one who has the energy."Shakti means "power" and Saktimat "he who has the power." So Radha and Krishna are the same. There is no difference between Them. The sun is a good example. The sun is the one that has the power. So there is no heat in the sun and also heat in all its splendor. There is light in the sun and there is light in all its splendor. Therefore, with regard to heat and light, the sun and its splendor are qualitatively the same. The temperature of the sun, however, is different from that of his splendor. There is thus a quantitative difference. This is the fundamental principle of the philosophy of Lord Chaitanya: acintya-bedhaabheda. Acintya means "inconceivable", Bheda means "difference" and abheda means "no difference." This is the situation completely: there is one God but He has expanded itself in ways mo1ti (eko bahusyam). And these expansions are one with Him and yet different from him-bhedaabheda acintya The philosophy here is described in the first verse of the Caitanya-caritamrta. Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is spreading like gurun, spiritual teachers. The spiritual master is directly Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Saksad-dharitvena Samasta uktah-sastra : "In all sastra guru is accepted as Krishna."
So when you offer treats and devotion to the guru, you offer them to Krsna. The guru does not think he Krsna, but devotional brings together the services of the disciples and offers them to Krishna. This is the process. We can not approach Krsna directly, we must approach Him through the guru. -suh asmd guruma prapadyeta jijna Srey uttaman . The injunction of the sastra is that you should approach a guru can accept the service of the disciple and transfer it to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So the first offer is the guru of everyone - gurun beverages.

THE ROLE OF THE GURU

The task is to ask the guru's devotion to the Supreme Lord. In the Bhagavad-gita (18.66) Krsna says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam Saranam Vraja :"Leave the material and abandoned any attachment to Me"
in the material world we have created so many so-called duties. This is our disease. Sociology, communism, nationalism, internationalism,
this "ism" that "ism", many, many duties we have created. But they are all the matter 1. So for His causeless mercy Krishna descends to teach us our true duty. Human life has meaning for one thing: athato brahma jijnasa, investigate su11a Supreme Absolute Truth, but man has created so many "isms." This is his misfortune. In human form, nature gives us the opportunity to investigate the Absolute Truth. We have the inte11igenza to research in this direction, while dogs and cats do not have it. The a1beri, plants, aquatic life forms, animals, beasts, men, but of 8.400.OOO forms of life, civilized man can only inquire into the Supreme Absolute Truth. It 'an opportunity so rare.Since we are parts of God, His qualities, but we have constitutionally infinitesimal extent. But because of our contact with matter, these qualities are now covered with various designations. And 'This is our material disease. When gold is covered by dirt does not show his qualities. Similarly, since we are covered by designations materials we do not show our divine qualities. In fact we are small Krishna, very small. Because we're the same shares of Krishna qua1ità. But now that quality is covered and the coverage has various names, socialism, communism and so on. "I am Indian," "I am an American," "I am Hindu," "I'm Muslim," "I am white," "I'm black." All these designations hide our true nature as servants of Krishna. And 'role of the guru wipe out these designations, these things without value. So first of all we offer our compliments to the guru because he is the representative of Krsna.Krishna says: "Leave all other forms of religion and abandoned to Me"

This is your real duty. But Krishna does not oblige us. And even for Krishna request we abandon our own designations. Krishna says: "Surrender to Me", but with the exception of the Pandavas and a few other devotees, in practice no one took seriously His call.

THE REAL KRISHNA

This happened five thousand years ago, what about today? Currently so many scholars argue on the Bhagavad-Gita, Krishna but without highlighting. That's their job. These demons are teaching but without the Bhagavad-gita Krishna. Nobody wants what Krishna says: s transceivers dharman parityajya mam-ekam Saranam Vraja . Krsna wants everyone to simply surrender to Him, but these so-called scholars alter the meaning of His words in various ways by diverting the attention of people in the most foolish. Many of you come from western countries. Well, at least in the last two hundred years, the Bhagavad-Gita has been popular in Europe and America, at least among scholars, theologians and the Theosophists, but no one has understood Krsna. This is the problem. But in the past, say, five or ten years, as we presented Krishna as it really is, has become very easy for you to understand Him. The real Krishna.

Before this, everything that had been presented on Krishna was adulterated and therefore not effective. So if you push this movement by presenting Krishna as it truly is, you will succeed. And as soon as it alters your efforts fail, it will not work. You can be a great scholar or a famous politician, why not be able to understand what is Krsna. As Krishna says in Bhagavad-gita (7.25) Naham prakasah sarvasya yoga-maya-samavritah : "I will not reveal myself to anyone staying hidden by My illusory energy." In other words, if you polluted Krishna, he will not ever be revealed to you. By the grace of Krishna you were able to take shelter at His lotus feet. It 'a great fortune for you. So Krishna is not adulterated. This is what I ask you, try to understand Krishna as it truly is. And to help us understand and approach Krsna, Krsna appeared as Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. His life and His teachings are contained in the Caitanya-caritamrta. Chaitanya means "spiritual living."

Since Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, this means that Krishna is the supreme living force. We reject the so-called scientific theory that life originated from chemical substances. We have taken our students to show scientists that life comes from matter, but rather by the Supreme Spirit Krishna. One student has already written a small book, The scientific basis of Krishna consciousness, and we are about to publish another 1ibro. What is the title?A devotee: Life comes from life. Srila Prabhupada: Yes, life comes from life. This is the reality. These so-called scientific theories that life comes from matter is all nonsense. We all have had the opportunity to experience what the living force and what is the inert matter. Krishna defines the living force in the Bhagavad-gita (2.20) na Hanya hanyamane sarire : "The living force does not die after the annulment of the body." When we are alive, our body changes and we can perceive the presence of the living force. When we see a dead body that does not move, we should ask: "Why is this body was moving before and now does not move?" If we simply think of these two different conditions we can understand what the living force. It is not difficult. Just make this reflection: "Now the living force has left this body therefore does not move and it is only dead matter. Caritamrta-Chaitanya speaks of the living force, not inert matter. We should always remember this. Now, the guru part of this living force, and so too are part of the Lord Himself, His incarnation, His expansions, His devotees and His internal energy. All of these entities are on the spiritual platform, parts of living force (Chaitanya-samjnakam).

Therefore Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or Lord Chaitanya is the personification of all the living forces. Unfortunately people confuse Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with a devoted regular, a sadhu or yogi. This is wrong.Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is the living force originaIe, Krishna. Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya understood the Lord Chaitanya as he really is and so Srila Rupa Goswami. In the same way the followers of Rupa Goswami and Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, everybody understood Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. And for those who understand or follow the path laid out by Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Krsna is very easy to be obtained. All this is described in the Caitanya-caritamrta.

THE MISSION of Lord Caitanya

So Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya describes the mission of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu

Vairagya-vidya-nija- bhakti-yoga -

siksartham Ekah purusah puranah

Sri-Krishna-Chaitanya-sarira-Dhari

yas tam aham kripambhudhir prapadye.

Here Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya says that Sri Krishna Chaitanya is purusah puranah, Krishna is the original Personality of Godhead Krishna Chaitanya appeared Why? Sarvabhauma says: Vairagya-vidya ... siksartham: the separation of teaching and knowledge of devotional service. Since we are here to suffer because of so many nominations, for His great mercy, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu came to free us from all these silly designations. And the way to go through Vairagya-vidya. Raga means "attachment material" and vairagya "freedom from worldly attachments." We must abandon these attachments worthless. How can we do this in our daily lives, how to love Krsna, how to bring all this we are taught by Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The Lord Caitanya is described in the eleventh canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam as Krishna Varnam-tvisakrishnam. Krishna Varnam-can mean "anyone who belongs to the same category of Krsna," or "everyone is always busy talking about
Krishna, "and tvisakrishnam means" not dark skinned. " The only occupation of the Lord is to describe Krishna Chaitanya and His complexion is dark. Krishna has many colors and a color of your pita is, that is golden. Therefore Lord Caitanya as the incarnation conosciuyo is golden. In addition, sangopangastra parsadam: "The Lord Caitanya is always accompanied by His intimate associates." These members are described in the first verse of the Caitanya-caritamrta as gurus, the devotees of the Lord, His incarnation, expansion and energy. You must study the Caitanya-caritamrta. Following in the footsteps of our Guru Maharaja, Srila Prabhupada Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, we published this edition thoroughly commented in English. There is no other edition of the Caitanya-caritamrta so careful with a comment like this. This can be understood by an advanced student. Anyone can become advanced."Advanced" means at least be able to understand that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead If you simply understand this, Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, then you are advanced. It is very difficult. The entire Vedic literature aims to understand Krishna. What does this understanding?Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead If you persuade you of this, then your study of the Vedas is perfect. In Bagavad-gita (7.7) Krsna says:mattah parataram nanyat kincid asti Dhananjaya : "My dear Arjuna , there is no authority, person or truth that is greater than me. " If you simply have faith in these words of Krishna, you become advanced in
Krsna consciousness. Can you believe blindly or after a careful study. It does not matter. Whether you touch fire without realizing it is that you do it on purpose, you will burn. In the same way even if you blindly accepted Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, you become advanced. Believe me: if you just have this conviction: "Yes, Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead", you are advanced students in the spiritual life. All persons associated with Sri Krishna Chaitanya, Lord Nityananda, Sri Advaita, Gadadhara, and Srivasa, are one in the sense that they are all interested in spreading Krishna consciousness. Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is personally committed and Sri Nityananda Prabhu, Sri Advaita Prabhu, and Srivasa Gadadhara are helping him.

QUALIFICATION OF THE GURU

To bring these five supreme personality you need the help of a guru. So you have to respect the guru for the first prayers gurun beverages. Gurun The word is plural because there are many guru. However, they are a Guru. For example, Krishna has many forms, but this does not mean that he is manifold. No, Krishna is one. Similarly, there are many gurus, but their philosophy must be unique: each one teach that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead This is proof that a guru is genuine. If someone is teaching something else, something crazy, then He is not a guru. As stipulated in the sastra:

sat-karma-Nipuna VIPRO

mantra-tantra-visaradah

avaisnavo gurur na syad

vaisnavah sva-paco guruh .

A brahmana is usually very experienced in singing and in understanding the Vedic mantras tantras (ritual) and so on. This is evidence for a brahmnana: to be truly educated. But if he does not know what it is or if it is not a Krishna devotee Krsinha, then it can become a guru. Instead, even if one comes from a family of dog-eaters, the most degraded among human beings, can become a guru if he is a Vaisnava, a devotee of Krsna. Thus the guru is very important because he has accepted Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, has seen the truth and is teaching the pure Krishna Consciousness. This is evidence for a true guru. The real guru does not proclaim to be Krishna Himself, but rather calls for door to door: "Please become a devotee of Krishna." This is what distinguishes a real guru.
